  5. The latest version of the Macintosh CD-ROM driver (Macintosh CD Setup 3.01)
  6. was released in late January.  It is now shipping with all AppleCD SC drives.
  7.  
  8. The CD-ROM 3.01 software drivers offers the following improvements:
  9.  
  10. --  Full compatbility with all Macintosh's currently sold by Apple
  11.     including the Macintosh IIci.
  12.  
  13. --  New features that improve its use for CD-ROM development such as support
  14.     for non-Roman character sets.
  15.  
  16. Installation Procedure:
  17.  
  18. •   Download the 4 disk files from AppleLink.  Don't forget to "Expand from
  19.     Package" (decompress) each of the files!
  20.  
  21. •   Drag the new Apple CD-ROM driver into your System folder, replacing your
  22.     current version.
  23.  
  24. •   Drag the new Foreign File Access driver into your System folder, replacing
  25.     your current version.
  26.  
  27. •   Drag the new High Sierra File Access driver into your System folder,
  28.     replacing your current version.
  29.  
  30. •   Drag the new ISO 9660 File Access driver into your System folder,
  31.     replacing your current version.
  32.  
  33. •   Restart your Macintosh.
